CHOICES!  Life is all about choices....choosing the "right" car, the dream house, your perfect job, the names of your children.  We even choose our brand of coffee, shampoo and laundry detergent.  Deliberate concentration is given to our choices in all areas of life...except healthcare.  We allow doctors to make all the decisions concerning the MOST important aspect of our lives! WHY?  The answer is simple really, we are an uninformed nation when it comes to healthcare, so we accept what the "experts" tell us.  We take the pill, go under the knife, subject our bodies to radiation, chemotherapy and drugs that haven't been on the market long enough for the "experts" to know all of the side effects because we don't have knowledge of "other options".
